The newsletter is an important means of keeping our members in touch with the happenings in the local riding.There is a significant cost to mailing out the newsletter four times a year. Also involved is the time put in by volunteers to address and stuff the envelopes for each mailing. As we all know cost of supplies and mailing will keep increasing. The costs of mailing the newsletters exceeds the amount of money we receive from head office for your yearly membership.
The ideal situation for the Riding Association is to have everyone on email, and avoid any mailing costs. This, of course is not possible as not all our members have computers and access to the internet. The more we can decrease the number we have to mail out, we will end up with more money to devote to getting our Candidate elected when an election is called.
Your information will only be used to send you the newsletter and any updates on Riding events and news. We will respect your privacy and will not use your information for any other purposes unless we have your permission.
